Plugin for PDF

Rybená does not translate Moodle PDFs because:

  • There is a cross-browser security policy that does not allow a script to have access to selection events from an embedded page
  • Moodle's standard PDF reading plugins use embedded pages to render the PDF

Therefore, it is necessary to install a customized PDF reading plugin created by Rybená, to ensure that she will be able to translate the texts of the PDF correctly

Steps for integration

1) Download Plugin

2) Access the page to install new plugins

Dashboard → Site Administration → Plugins → Install Plugin

3) Insert the downloaded ZIP file in the appropriate location and click Install ZIP file plugin

4) Follow the installation instructions shown by Moodle

TIP

We recommend leaving the suggested values on the plugin configuration page

ATTENTION

When making PDF available to users, you must choose the installed plugin, the PDFs inserted in other ways will not have integration with Rybená
