PDF plugin

This is a Joomla content plugin that makes it possible to show accessible pdf files in content based. It was built based on https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js.

Warning

In Joomla! 2.5 the PDF feature is no longer included by default. Therefore it is not possible to insert PDFs into articles in a very intuitive way, such as with a button in the article creator of Create PDF.

How to install?

Download the component here.
Log in to your Joomla Admin Panel.
Go to the Extensions Manager.
(Extensions - Extension Manager - Install)
Access the Upload & Install Joomla Extension tab.
Select the downloaded ZIP file and upload it.
Access the Extension Manager and enable the Content - pdfviewer plugin.

How to use?

First upload your PDFs to the Joomla Media Manager (Content - Media)
Click on the PDF you want to make available, and copy its link
Navigate to the article you want to make the PDF available and paste the following command

{pdfviewer file=PASTE-HERE-THE-PDF-LINK }
