Data Collection for Sign Database Improvement
Rybená collects spelling data to continuously improve its LIBRAS sign database. This functionality is essential for the development and enhancement of our translation system.
Legal Aspects
For information about the legal aspects of data collection and your rights as a data subject, consult our Privacy Policy and LGPD.
How It Works
When a user requests the translation of a word that does not have a corresponding sign in our LIBRAS database, the system performs the spelling of that word. This spelling data is collected anonymously to:
- Identify words that need specific signs in LIBRAS
- Analyze vocabulary usage patterns
- Prioritize the development of new signs
- Improve translation quality and scope
Anonymity and Privacy
Data Protection
All collected data are completely anonymous and do not contain information that can identify the user, the source site, or any personal data.
The data collection follows strictly the following principles:
- Complete anonymity: We do not register IP, user, site, or any identifiable information
- Only words: We collect exclusively the spelled word (numbers are ignored)
- No context: We do not store complete sentences, only individual words
- Security: All data is encrypted using 256-bit encryption
How to Disable Data Collection
If you do not wish to participate in the improvement of our sign database, you can completely disable the data collection by adding the doNotTrack parameter to your script implementation.
doNotTrack Parameter Implementation
To disable data collection, add the following parameter to your implementation:
<script
type="text/javascript"
src="https://cdn.rybena.com.br/dom/master/latest/rybena.js"
doNotTrack="true"
></script>
Nomenclature Standard
Attention: The correct parameter is doNotTrack (with lowercase "d" and uppercase "T"), in accordance with web standards and our updated documentation.
Important
When the doNotTrack="true" parameter is activated, all spelling data is immediately discarded after translation, without any storage or subsequent analysis.
Benefits of Data Collection
By allowing spelling data collection, you contribute to:
- LIBRAS vocabulary expansion
- Continuous improvement of translation quality
- Development of signs for technical and specific terms
- Inclusion of new words and expressions from daily life
- Support for language evolution and its regionalisms
Transparency and Control
Rybená believes in complete transparency in data processing. Therefore:
- We offer full control over data collection through the
doNotTrackparameter - We do not perform any type of user profiling or identification
- We use the data exclusively for sign database improvement purposes
- We strictly follow the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) guidelines
Security Measures
For detailed information about the technical security measures that protect this data, consult our Information Security Policy.
